This brand new cardboard cat furniture line is taking modularity to a new level! Katris from the design team at Papercut Lab, is a system of sturdy cardboard shapes that fit together just like the shapes in the game Tetris, allowing you to create an endless number of configurations.
By stacking and attaching the pieces, you can build a customized cat tree that doubles as a scratcher or even a piece of furniture for you. Make a side table or coffee table with nooks and crannies for the cats to explore.
Special clips are used to hold the modules together once you’ve created the perfect design. What I love about this is that you can change it periodically to give your cats something new to explore. Brilliant!
Think of the possibilities! You can build up and out in any direction, and the end result looks like a piece of modern sculpture.
There are five different pieces in the Katris line, I, Z, T, O and L, all designed to interlock creating a stable climbing surface. Each piece is hand assembled from 100% recyclable cardboard that is 90% post consumer recycled content. They use only non-toxic starch-based adhesives and no inks or dyes.
Katris is now available on Amazon, each piece is $49.95 with FREE SHIPPING, or get the whole bundle of all five pieces for $229.95, also with free shipping.

Thank you.
I love the idea of cardboard furniture/playhouses for cats! They love paper and sure love the scratching option! Wonderful!
best cat furniture idea to come along in a while!
The website states these items are for sale on amazon. When I click the shop link, no product info with price shows up. I hate to see this company loose out on potential sales due to difficult shopping access.

Quantity is limited 🙂
Says it’s unavailable. 🙁
My cats love cardboard and I have all the different shapes, even the heper that you buy refills for. My problem is the cardboards ones only stay good looking for a couple week, once they start scratching its a hot mess. Wish they would make similar geometric scratchers but with sisal material.
This is genius! I will be buying some! (well, as long as they are well-priced…)
Love these will definitely be ordering some. Might even get rid of some of my people furniture to accommodate the kitties
Outstanding! I can picture configurations all over the apartment. Price is an issue and look forward to that final piece of information.
Exacto knife. Ikea boxes. Elmers.
Cheap and green.
Hello. The amazon listing says unavailable. When will new stocks be in? Looking to order a few to make a modular bookcase/cat tree. Thanks.
$50 for bits of cardboard? Um… well they look nice but I think I can DIY, thanks for the inspiration at least!
It’s a pity you don’t ship to Poland, Europe.
Do you still sell katris? If so, where can I purchase it? It is not on Amazon right now.
Thank you,
Michelle
Suggestion: When you turn a piece 90 degrees to the others, there’s no way to clamp them together. I put a T-piece in with pieces above and below the short part, to give the base some stability, but friction will only do so much against a 20 pound Maine Coon cat – a way to clamp them would be nice.
It looks like it would need a clamp piece that’s about 10″ long to hold one side to the edge of another piece. You could sell them separately, or just include one with each piece.
hi,
I’ve been searching for a stylist cat tree/scratcher for a while & really love this option.
however, before I invest $200+ in cardboard I’m wondering if anyone knows how long these last?
the cat scratchers I have now last abt 2 months (2 cats) before they start looking shredded.
thx!

Hi,
Love the idea and design. I am in London,
How can we get the Katris climbing blocks here?!
Thanks
