Puzzle toys for cats are becoming more and more popular. We’ve included several in our Gear Guide for you to try with your cats. This one is from Swedish pet toy designer Nina Ottosson, who I had the pleasure of meeting last week at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando.
The Cat Treat Maze is one of Nina’s many interactive toys that activate and entertain your cat. The unpredictable movement keeps the toy challenging. Put treats in the hole at the top, then your cat has to work to get the Treat Maze moving so that it wobbles, rocks and spins around, allowing the treats to pass through the maze and fall out through the openings on both the top and bottom.
Available from Amazon.
I saw this one in my latest Cat Fancy and when I saw the price I realized it would be a purchase. I love being able to put some kibbles in a toy to help my sweetheart pass time while I am at work… plus it makes him eat a little bit slower.
This one looks like fun.
I like this a LOT, as there are a few treat-snorkers here who could stand to slow down a bit in their consumption; and I’m strongly thinking of getting it for my birthday (yeah, I buy my cats things for my birthday) 😉
i want this
Looks like a great attention-getting toy, very intriguing.
Gotta have this treat feeder for my kitties.
My kitty is a genius. He will figure it out easy.
This has been a big hit at our house! I use the Cat Treat Maze as well as other food puzzle toys to feed dry food instead of bowls.
We really need an interactive toy for Scooter. She has some sharpening of the brain to to and this just might work! Great review.
My cats love this puzzle. It is one of their favorites. This is how they get their dry food.
