Jamie Shelman from The Dancing Cat has created a line of six new illustrations featuring some of your favorite cat breeds in classic Dancing Cat style. Choose from calico, Siamese, tabby, Maine Coon, tuxedo or Ragdoll. These fun illustrations are available as prints, on greeting cards, and even on a mug from The Dancing Cat Etsy shop.
I LOVE these. And even though I’d never want cats to be obese, I do love the fact that these cuties are all tubby. 😉
Not to pick nits or anything, but my sister Threegood Marshall the tabby has called this error to my attention.
We are a tuxedo and tabby, respectively, and feel really really special. Way more special than “breed” cats. We are rescues of unknown, perhaps questionable, heritage, but splendid creatures nonetheless.
We don’t know any calico cats, but we deduce that one of them might be contacting you with a similar comment!
BTW, we adore the cards. If we had PayPal, we’d buy some.
Ahh, Mayya, you make an excellent point! Breed is not really the correct word here. It should instead by type or kind, don’t you think? It’s more about appearance than heritage.
Threegood and I concur. She is a “kind” cat — well, kind enough. =^••^=
And she says I’m just her “type.” (Ok I made that last part up.)
The names are artistic license; call them whatever else you will, they are ADORABLE, especially the Tabby!
I only puirchase online via Paypal. Cute though all the products may be.
