Great idea! I especially love the warm calico colors.
Love this!! And I can’t wait to start on my Calico scarf!
Oh.. “Le Chat Noir”!!! These are beautiful colours!
What is the yardage for this yarn? Fingering? I love it! Thanks for answering
What is the yardage?
437 yards per skein
This is awesome! I love that my dorky knitting hobby can help kitties and I LOVE this yarn.
Will be buying some today! Thanks for the link!
Those are so pretty. I bet made into something they would be beautiful.
How much of this yarn would one need to make an adult-sized scarf? How about a sweater?
I just about fell over laughing when I saw these beautiful yarns. About 3 years ago I jotted down in my idea book to try dying and spinning cat yarns, but I never got around to it. I never thought about the cat’s eye colors; those are great. I was going to donate 50% of sales to the local no-kill cat shelter where one of my furry friends came from. Anyway, the yarns are beautiful and I’m glad someone got around to making them even if it wasn’t me.
Saw these at a local yarn store the other week! Definitely want to get some. I think Calico is my favorite, but I’m disappointed there isn’t a Tortie.
There is- http://ancientartsfibre.com/Meow_Yarn_Collection/Tortoiseshell_Cat_in_DK_Weight.html
it comes in different weights too.
I’ve been dying for something like this, but alas, I only work in machine washable yarns. I want to make an afghan with cat tail squares http://cherokeecampfiregirl.deviantart.com/art/Cat-With-Tail-Afghan-545257771 in four different cat colors, one four each of our four cats, who are all different colors.
How do I get the oraTabby yarn
