If you’re serious about modern architecture, then you’re going to flip for this beautiful modern cat house. Created by Tom Davies of Davies Decor, this modern cat hideaway is designed with classic post and beam principles, horizontal lines and a gorgeous combination of natural materials including solid oak beams and African sapele wood veneer.
The stained poplar wood screen is the perfect modern touch, letting kitty peek out to keep an eye on things, and the rooftop sisal wrapped panel adds extra functionality.
I especially like the subtle cat face opening into the spacious 24″ x 18″ interior.
Each Cat House is custom made to order and can be purchased from DaviesDecor.com.
Consider me *flipping all over Creation* over this!!! *WOW*
I am strongly considering purchasing one of these! I presently have 3 boxes laying around that the cats are in/out constantly (but sadly for them will be discarded soon). Likewise, after shopping we leave bags on the floor for a short while for their amusement. If I get one of these, I think the boxes will definitely be a thing of the past. Also, I love the beautiful design and based on the video, the craftsmanship looks to be stellar. Nice find/post!
This is beautiful! I always found that cat houses were too “cute” and “cat-like”. This is really modern and would fit everywhere. I like it!
Love the design! How cool. The attention to craftsmanship is clearly present. At my house, my cats love cardboard boxes and shopping bags. But there is no place to SCRATCH. This is designed with a scratch-er. I need to show this to my cats. I bet they will flip out over this. Considering buying it.
