Many of the cardboard cat scratchers featured on Hauspanther can be considered pieces of modern art just as much as they are functional cat scratchers, and this fabulous photo by Hilary Walker for Houzz.com of Lisa and Wayne Moore’s home in Dallas, Texas takes that idea to a whole new level. They used five of the PetFusion Cat Scratcher Lounges and hung them on the wall to create an eye-catching installation that kitty can actually climb. I would have staggered them to make it easier for the cats to climb, but it certainly gives you an idea of what’s possible.
The PetFusion scratcher/lounge in particular lends itself to creative uses. Here are a few other photos of kitties enjoying their lounges.

I never thought of hanging them. That’s a great idea! It looks good.
Wow, those are great, especially the hanging one. Wish they had included how they did that. I have a section of wall that needs catification.
I’m curious about how they are attached to the wall. Do you have any information about this?
Beautiful and no doubt cat-attractive as well!
The Stacked and Staggered Wall design is simple to execute. We typically use 2 wall Brackets (when hanging each Lounge) and then adhere Velcro for additional support. These can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowes (link below).

Kevin:
What part of each lounge do you attach the brackets to? They are not visible in the photo.
Hi Cindy…Brackets get attached to underneath each “upper” curved portion of the Lounge. If you want more assistance, email me your # at kevin@pet-fusion.com and we can discuss. Thanks for your interest! Kevin
Got to be into a hard wall? Not directly into dry wall, unless able to put screws into the wood stud behind it, right?
