The creative team over at Atomic Attic is always on the lookout for vintage finds that can be transformed into unique and useful items for kitty. Their upcycled vintage suitcase pet beds are one-of-a-kind works of art that both you and your cat will enjoy.
Each bed is handcrafted using half of a vintage suitcase and some kind of creative pedestal base, such as a vintage chair base or even half a globe. The beds have a soft cushion and matching liner made with fabrics that color coordinate with the vintage parts. Beautiful!
Some of the bed designs have original handcrafted bases that add a modern look. The attention to detail is outstanding and I just love the fabric selections!
These beds are the perfect size for a cat and I’m sure that the cats love to be raised off the floor like this. It’s easier to survey your territory that way.
And if you’d like to go all out, you can even get a pet feeder made from a vintage train case to go with your suitcase bed. Two stainless steel bowls sit inside the case with storage underneath. It makes the perfect travel feeder!

The cat in suitcase looked cool, but this pic doesn’t show how the cat -especially a big cat- could get into the open suitcase. Not easy for a hefty cat to jump straight up and into a suitcase with sides.
