Here’s a stylish and sophisticated way to conceal the litter box. It’s the Litter Box Cabinet from Pet Studio. The dark mahogany finish and antique brass hardware give it a more traditional look. The cabinet fits standard size litter boxes and even has a hidden drawer for storing litter supplies.
The litter concealer measures 24 x 28 x 19 inches and when closed looks just like a regular piece of furniture. Available from Amazon.
absolutely LOVE THIS! I have something similar but it is white (and probably not as well made), in my bathroom. My only complaint is neither my husband nor I, would be thrilled with watching Cody “do his thang” while we are watching TV!! lol!! Having a TV on top might NOT be the best idea for sales lol, not to mention, if the TV is on, and there is a loud noise coming from the TV it might scare the hell out of the cat that is using the box………..just sayin!! Otherwise, I love this but I would ditch the TV photo for marketing purposes 🙂
Beautiful cabinet — one of the nicest I’ve seen! though I agree with Caren and also think it’s a very bizarre concept to have this in the living room or whatever.
I just bought this and got it set up about a week and a half ago. I would give it maybe three stars. It’s not nearly as big as it looks in pictures. If you read the actual dimensions, that should be obvious, but it didn’t really hit home for me until I put it together. In fact, I left out the drawer because I have a Maine coon, and he’s tall enough that he needed the extra room. The cabinet isn’t that well made either. The finish looks a lot nicer in the pictures than it does in real life, and the back side is just paperboard. If that were to get urine on it, you’d have to take it out and throw it away and find some other way of closing off the back or just leave it open. Assembly was pretty straightforward. You’ll need a Phillips head screwdriver. An electric screwdriver is helpful but not absolutely necessary. Two things I do like: It has a nice big opening for kitty to go through, and the double doors make it easy to get inside and clean. I also own the Petco Privacy Please Den (http://www.petco.com/product/123074/Petco-Premium-Privacy-Please-Den.aspx?CoreCat=MM_CatSupplies_LitterBoxes), and it’s a much better value for the money. It’s quite a bit bigger than this cabinet, and it actually does look a little awkward because it’s like a giant end table, but it offers more room for the cats. It’s a little harder to clean because there’s only one door and it’s on the short side. The opening for the cats to get in is smaller too, but my Maine coon doesn’t have a problem. Overall, I would recommend the Petco cabinet over this one. It’s very sturdy and very modern looking.
Looks pretty but after reading a bunch of the reviews I am hesitant to order. It doesn’t look like there is a lot of room inside for the cats to sit up comfortably. Several reviews stated it falls apart quickly if any urine gets on it, but I don’t think you can really expect much from particle board. I would be more prone to buy it if it was actually made from wood. Too expensive!!
That is beautiful. I’d love to have this in my foyer. The kitties would like it too.
It’s a beautiful piece of furniture, but only if you have a tidy litter box user, probably just a single cat. I have a vertical pee’r, who would kill the finish on the cabinet in no time. My two girls are more careful, but they still kick litter around.
I bought this one 2 years ago, and I absolutely love it. 🙂 🙂 The quality is fantastic and since I live in a small apartment it hides her litter box perfectly.
