I’ve always loved the look of solid glass. The light aqua color of very thick glass is absolutely beautiful, showing off the natural qualities of the material. Glass is one of the safest materials you can use to feed your cat. It is chemically inert and therefore totally non-toxic. It can also be recycled infinitely without compromising its quality or purity. Of course, the biggest drawback with glass is that it is breakable, but the folks at PawNosh want to change our ideas about the fragility of glass by showing us how it can — and should — be used for pets.
PawNosh creates extremely durable pet bowls from 100% post-consumer recycled glass. Each piece is handmade in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty against breakage. Really! The design features a cutout at the bottom for easy lifting. PawNosh bowls come in two sizes, the Cubby Bowl, measuring about 6″ wide by 3″ tall, and the larger Cubby Bowl Deluxe, measuring about 8″ wide by 3.5″ tall.
They sent us a Cubby Bowl to test and I have to tell you about receiving the package. Each bowl arrives beautifully packaged and the experience of opening it is very special. The bowls even come with a certificate of authenticity. It’s a gorgeous piece, very heavy and solid, plus I love the natural, handcrafted look of it. PawNosh bowls are truly high quality and would make lovely gifts (already wrapped!) You can purchase PawNosh bowls at PawNosh.com and also from Amazon.

Looks pretty but I don’t think it would be big enough for my cats. They don’t have a price listed for the deluxe model and there was no button to push to even order one.
Theresa, the price for the Deluxe bowl is $74.00 and you can order by clicking on the pic 🙂
The bowl is beautiful!
I love these recycled glass bowls but they are just a little too pricey for me.
Love the bowl!! ☺

It could also make an attractive planter for succulents, for example.
Sadly, it’s a luxury item at $55. 🙁
And here I’m using an old Pyrex dish for my cat’s water. 🙂 Well-made glass is *very* sturdy. But I want a dish my cat *can* scoot around: I suspect that he can’t see the water unless it’s moving, since he nudges his bowl before drinking.
