I attended an art exhibit in Phoenix last week, and amidst the collection of beautiful, semi-abstract urban landscapes by artist Sean Thomas, one small painting caught my eye. It was a square portrait of Hello Kitty, but in Sean’s distinctive style, which he normally uses to explore urban environments.
Of course, I inquired about the lone Hello Kitty painting (which I found out was actually borrowed from his daughter’s room just for the exhibit) and discovered that it is part of a whole series of Hello Kitty portraits that Sean has done over the years. I’m completely in love with this collection!

Interesting and different!
Love these! been looking for something to fill in one spot on my wall. One of these would be perfect! Anybody know the cost?
Didn’t expect hello kitty to be represented like that.
