I’m very excited to share with you a new cat bed from one of my favorite companies, Hepper. I’ve worked with Hepper and the company’s founder Jed Crystal since we both started out in the cat product world and Jed’s designs have always been some of my favorites. The new Hepper Nest Bed is another modern creation designed to delight both cats and their people.
The circular shape of the Nest Bed is perfect for curling up inside, plus the flexible molded foam shell is soft and comfy. It’s the same material that the Hepper Pod Bed is made from. The Nest Bed comes with a removable, washable sherpa fleece liner for extra coziness and easy cleaning. Overall dimensions of the Nest Bed are 17.5″ in diameter and 5.75″ tall with the inner bed area measuring 15″ in diameter. Perfect for a cat nap!

I love the idea of this, and the price is not out of reach! I went to the website though, and found that the care instructions are a little too fussy for me to deal with. I am single and work more than one job. All cat stuff has to be tough and completely washable (and in the case of fabric/soft fibers, machine dryable) without requiring delicate care and handling. I’m not criticizing – others probably have the time required to take the extra steps. I’d just rather spend that time playing with or petting my cats while the dryer runs!
