If you’re looking for an alternative to carpet covered cat towers, then consider the PurrfecTower cat tower from PurrfecTrends. These sleek cat towers are handcrafted in the US from cabinet grade birch plywood with top quality finishes.
We are using our PurrfecTower as a room divider between the dining area and living room and the cats absolutely love it. The structure is airy and elegant and it definitely has the feeling of fine furniture.
Each tree has a lower box measuring 20″ wide by 20″ deep by 14″ tall, which creates the perfect cat hideaway and a stable base for the tower. The platforms have recessed natural sisal inserts to prevent slipping and for scratching.
The PurfecTower is available in three sizes: 48″ with two upper platforms for $285, 62″ with three upper platforms for $335, or 72″ with four upper platforms for $395. Choose from naturally clear, Ozark autumn or American walnut finish. Available from the Hauspanther online shop including shipping to addresses in the contiguous US.
In the bottom compartment, is there one entry/exit hole, or are there two?
Only one, but I’ve been meaning to encourage the manufacturer to add a second opening if he can.
Thank you!
These towers appear to be very appropriate for young cats — but what about geriatric cats, cats with arthritis, especially in their hind legs, etc??? They have more difficulties jumping — only woven sisal, sisal rope, and yes, carpet, would enable them to enjoy these towers (such cats would still be able to easily climb with woven or rope sisal). I had custom made cat towers and a seven foot “gym” made 30 years ago, using woven sisal and first class premium carpet (which is why the carpet lasted so long) The platforms and cradles have carpet for relaxing/snoozing, with the best woven sisal for climbing. Last year I had all of them re-upholstered with new Bliss specialty pet friendly carpet and the current best woven sisal for the posts/exteriors (what was used 30 years ago unfortunately is no longer available).
I agree, they might not be the best choice for cats with mobility issues.
Aren’t they gorgeous — love the three different finishes!
Oohh like Santos Dumont steps!! 🙂
I have an enclosed porch where I had a carpeted tower, unfortunately it got moldy and I had to throw it away. I was wondering if this tower would be mold resistant. Thanks.
Do these come assembled?
The bottom box is preassembled and you attach the upper support pieces and platforms. Pretty easy to assembly!
What are the prices?
Not tall enough. No houses where they can nap in peace. No little comfy stools with backs on them so they won’t fall. Nope don’t like these.
I bet my cat Buddy would like that!
