Here’s a new line of modern cardboard cat furniture from Thailand. Kafbo offers a nice variety of eco-friendly cardboard scratchers, climbers and lounges that would look great in any home. There are two collections, the Home series and the 9Lifers collection.
The Home series includes eight modular pieces that can be configured to create any size climbing wall. Each piece has nooks and crannies for cats to hide in and the sturdy cardboard is meant to withstand some serious scratching.
The 9Lifers collection includes nine different animal shapes also designed for scratching, climbing and lounging.
They sent us a couple pieces of the Home collection to test and they are quite nice! The pieces are generously sized with plenty of room for cats to hangout inside, and the extra thick cardboard is very sturdy. The pieces fit together with simple cardboard strips, so I wouldn’t recommend building too high, but each piece is heavy enough that they are holding together well. Ando and Andy both approve!
