There’s a new favorite cat bed in our house! (I know I say that a lot, but this one is seriously awesome!) If occupancy levels are any indication, this might be the perfect cat bed! It’s PetFusion’s new Ultimate Lounge Bed and it has all the features cats (at least mine) love.
First, the bed has a 2″ thick top quality memory foam cushion as the base. This is the best type of foam for pet beds, and is especially good for older or arthritic pets. The foam moulds to your cat’s body creating a fabulous, supportive sleeping surface. Once a cat settles in, he’s there for a while.
In addition to the memory foam base, the bed has comfy bolsters surrounding all sides with a cutout for easy access in the front. What cat doesn’t love a bolster to snuggle up again or rest their head on? The bolster cushions are stuffed with “green” polyfill made from recycled plastic. Both the bolster cushions and the memory foam cushion slide into compartments in a durable cotton/polyester twill cover. The cover is water and tear resistant and has a non-slip texture on the bottom. It’s really well stitched with nice details and sturdy zippers and is machine washable.
We’ve been testing the bed they sent us for about a week and, no kidding, it is constantly occupied. Everyone loves it! The bed comes in three sizes, but the small (shown here, measuring 25″ wide x 20″ deep x 5.5″ high) is perfect for one or even two cats. My two biggest boys have been curled up in it multiple times and there’s plenty of room. They’ve been using it so much, it had collected quite a bit of cat hair, so I just threw the cover in the dryer and the hair all came off easily. Great fabric and it’s easy to remove and replace the cushions for cleaning.

Really enjoy seeing all the awesome contest giveaways and products featured on Hauspanther however most of the contests are not open to Canadians and I’m disappointed that most of the featured companies won’t ship to Canada. We have cats too! And modern cat items are hard to come by. Please help us in the future:)
