Our friends over at PurrfecTrends just designed a brand new cat tower that’s one of the tallest I’ve ever seen! Their new 86″ PurrfecTower has seven levels for cats to climb and lounge on. Each surface has a recessed natural sisal pad for scratching and to prevent slipping. As you can see, my cats absolutely love the new tower! It’s currently the best spot in the house.
The new 86″ tower has two options, you can get it with a single hideaway box on the bottom or the dual box option has a second box in the middle of the tower. Cats can access the upper box through 6″ passageways cut in the top and bottom of the box, plus they can peek out the hole on the side.
Bear demonstrates how much fun it is to play peek-a-boo in the upper box:
I paired the new 86″ tower with my 62″ PurrfecTower to make a room divider. The cats can climb back and forth from one level to the next. I have nice tall ceilings in my living room so the two towers together make quite a statement.
The new 86″ tower is available in a variety of finishes, including two new finishes, white and black semi-gloss latex enamel (the regular towers are now also available in black and white). The single box option is $499 and the dual box option is $689, both including shipping to addresses in the continental US. Available now from the Hauspanther online shop.
Can you request extra holes in the bottom cube? It would be nice if the cats could go back and forth between the two towers at the cube level if you had two of them together. My foster kittens would love being able to pop back and forth between the two bottom boxes. Also for my cats I have an older cat who tends to get cornered by his more aggressive housemate and I would want to have a second hole so he could get out if the alpha cat saw him in the cube and decided to puppy guard the only way out.
Thanks
KC has some excellent ideas there. And these towers are gorgeous (as is your living room, and of course, the main focus: THE CATS!)
I am afraid my kitties might think the boxes are more litter boxes…has anyone else encountered this issue??
Thanks!
Hi KC!
This is Linda with Hauspanther’s Customer Service. Great idea to have two towers back to back (as in Kate’s photo) but with extra holes in the back side of the bottom cubes so the kitties can pass thru both cubes. An extra hole would also allow for an escape for those times when the alpha kitties “guard” the only way out.
I contacted the manufacturer and they said, yes they can customize the cube so it has two holes for an additional charge of $20.00 per tower. To order the Towers with the additional hole, simply place an order in our online store and include a comment about your request in the “Add a note to your order”. Or you can place the order and then immediately send us an email at info@hauspanther.com We will send you a separate invoice for $20.00 for the custom cut second hole.

Thank you for your great idea! Linda
Hi Susan in Phoenix!
This is Linda again with Hauspanther’s Customer Service. We have not heard of a situation where kitties thought the cube was a litter box. I placed a cushion in the cube of our kitties’ PurrfecTower so it’s a nice cozy spot for them. Thank you for your inquiry!
