Feast your eyes on this gorgeous new addition to the world of feline design! It’s the Cone from cat product design company, Wiski. The Cone is the first creation from this promising new company, started by industrial designer Evan Ryan. If this is a taste of what’s to come, I’m sure we will be seeing great things from them!
The Cone is an elegant, modern cat scratcher that also houses a cozy hideaway inside. A soft cushion is raised slightly above the floor, creating the perfect napping spot. Natural sisal is wrapped around the structural wire frame to provide kitty with a generous and sturdy scratching surface that can be replaced when worn. I love that the frame creates a handle on top, making it easy to pick-up the Cone and move it around.
The Cone will be launching later this spring with a Kickstarter campaign. There will be other colors available besides the combo shown here. No word on pricing yet, but you definitely want to be the first to hear about this, so make sure to head over to wiskicat.com and signup for their email list and they will notify you when the Kickstarter campaign launches.

Elegant modern design – great colours. Interesting, combined idea. Only criticism is the hard metal handles on the top – cat’s like to climb and survey their surroundings – a missed opportunity and a design fault as they gave not taken into account the behavioural qualities of cats. A shame, but its an attractive product.
I worked with industrial designers at the Royal College if Art.
This is RIGHT up my cat Bradley’s alley. I will absolutely look forward to their kickstarter – this is great!
Very promising! Thanks for always bringing us such innovative products.
Nice! I imagine one in orange. Because, you know, traffic cones 😉
This thing is cool, and I love how it addresses the need to scratch while also offering a place for them to play and sleep.
Great design and color combo. Maybe this would give the latest addition to our cat family something else to scratch instead of the carpet.
