IMHO these types of litter boxes are rife for creating potty issues.
Cats are fastidious creatures. With boxes like this the cat has to jump on top of their litter not being able to see where the ick is located if its human hasn’t bothered to clean it. Then the cat has to try to jump out of it launching off dirty litter. What about physically challenged or senior kitties?
These designs are for human not feline convenience.
