These are very attractive cat items, unfortunately I will not buy products made from animal sources. I wish they were made with something other than wool. I absolutely do not buy wool.
No animal is harmed to produce wool. Sheep are sheered and sent back out to be sheep until sheering time again the next year. This is far more environmentally-sound that polyester/acrylic which is the other felt option. Besides, cats like wool.

Wool and most other animal fiber is a renewable, sustainable product made without harming the sheep or other animal sources and can be recycled or composted at the end of the product’s life; artificial fibers are made from petrochemicals and add to climate change as well as landfills for disposal.
