This elegant modern cat tree from Korean design firm Jiyoun Kim Studio for pet product company Milliong recently debuted at the 2019 Seoul Living Design Fair. The design incorporates surfaces for climbing, lounging and scratching as well as minimalist hanging cat toys to attract cats and encourage play. If you’re looking for pure modern design for your cat, then this is about as good as it gets.
The Three Poles Cat Tower is constructed with a metal frame and birch plywood platforms. The tower is modular, allowing you to rearrange the platforms in multiple configurations. A sturdy metal base prevents the tower from tipping.
The tower will be sold made-to-order by Milliong.
Never have I seen a cat tower that is so “us” — and the feline model is a treat for the eyes, too! Thanks for sharing with us.
That’s a lovely concept for a cat tower! Dare one to inquire as to the expected selling price?
However, I’m even more interested in the cat demonstrating it — is that a rosetted Snow Bengal? It is one of the most spectacular cats I’ve ever seen.
Love the design and the modular construction. Hope for US availability and choice of colors. I am not a fan of carpeted cat surfaces, but the pure wood/plastic are too slippery for my cats despite how great these surfaces look. Hope some designer works out a “rough non-carpet” solution. Thanks for keeping readers updated on progress.
The Milliong website is a bit tricky as it doesn’t seem to translate properly, but I can’t tell if you can order this yet, does anyone know? I expect price may be a roadblock on this, being “concept design” and all, but would love to find out.
Looks like they don’t ship outside of Korea. Even if they did, the towers are approximately $1,300 – $1,500 USD, so… yeah. They look amazing though!
