This breathtaking sculpture is the NEKO modern cat tree designed by Yoh Komiyama for Japanese cat product company RINN. The airy structure is constructed from natural Japanese wood, hemp cord and a Greek marble base. Vertical posts create a screen for cats to peer out and for us to glimpse the cat inside. Multiple levels offer a semi-private lounging space that can be accessed via a hinged door in the posts. The heavy marble base stabilizes the tower and provides a cool surface for cats to lounge on.
Japanese design is some of the finest you’ll ever see, with a price tag to match. The NEKO Modern Cat Tree is available from RINN for ¥1,000,000, or about $9,200 US. Let’s all just appreciate it’s beauty.
These are absolutely gorgeous! I can’t help thinking how many loving, deserving feline lives could be saved with that kind of money, but I’ll also just focus on what it will do to make my own beloved cats happy, healthy and safe! For those who are so inclined, I hope their cats enjoy these works of art.

Be very careful. I ordered this tree directly from RINN in Japan. I never got the tree and I still don;’t have the money back!
