ONE is a brand new modular, multifunctional cat furniture system from German company Catrub and it’s available today for the first time on Kickstarter. This totally unique design incorporates resting, hiding, playing and scratching all in one beautiful piece that you can customize to suit your cat and your home. I can see why it just won a 2021 German Design Award!
Catrub ONE is molded from high impact polystyrene, making it 100% recyclable and non-toxic, plus you can easily disassemble the unit and thoroughly wash each piece as needed. Two different modules can be combined in a variety of configurations. The Chill & Sleep module includes a soft cushion with a washable cover and two sisal scratch pads on the outside. The Fun & Play module has a cardboard scratch pad, a track ball game, peep holes on the sides and a grooming brush that can be mounted inside or outside. The domed top includes a hook for attaching a dangling toy. All elements are designed to be replaceable as needed.
Either module can be used individually, with or without the wooden feet, or you can stack two modules together for a multi-level structure. Each module measures about 18.5″ wide by 13.5″ deep with a 10″ x 10″ entryway.
Catrub ONE is expected to ship in May 2021. It ships fully assembled and will be available worldwide.
