As we all start to travel a bit again, whether it’s across the country or just to the vet’s office, keep your cat safe and comfortable with the Sleepypod Air. This stylish carrier is certified by the Center for Pet Safety, plus it is the largest pet carrier approved for in-cabin air travel.
Features for Easy Travel
The Sleepypod Air is packed with features designed to make travel with your cat easy. It is made from luggage-grade ballistic nylon that is tear- and stain-resistant with polyester rip-stop mesh panels that allow airflow and visibility but resist claws and teeth. Buckles on the front and back allow you to secure the Sleepypod Air using the seat belt in the rear seat of a vehicle or it can be easily secured to a bicycle equipped with a rack.
Ergonomic zipper pulls and convenient zipper pocket on both the front and the back make travel easy for you. A removable privacy panel provides extra security for your cat when needed. The trolley pocket allows you to secure the Sleepypod Air onto a telescoping luggage handle for transport through the airport, or use the adjustable, padded shoulder strap.
The bottom edges of the Sleepypod Air fold in, allowing the carrier to fit under a standard airline seat, as shown above. Once in flight, you can easily expand the carrier to its full size and let your cat stretch out.
Nine Designer Colors
The Sleepypod Air is available in nine designer colors including the newest additions, First Blush, Olive and Charcoal.
The Sleepypod Air can also be used as a cozy bed at home, creating a familiar space that is comforting to your cat when traveling, or fold the carrier flat for convenient storage. The plush liner is removable and machine-washable.

SleepyPod makes wonderful cat products. These carriers look like the Rolls Royces of carriers! Love the features and colors. Thanks for sharing with us!
Boulder strap? Didn’t see one on their site either. It’s beautiful – and quite expensive.
Shoulder strap? Didn’t see one on their site either. It’s beautiful – and quite expensive. (Autospell changed shoulder to boulder, sorry!)
I’ve got most of the colors of the Sleepypod Air with the exception of the White one you have featured in your article. On their site I can’t find this white one available, am I incorrect with the color? Is it actually the silver that is shown in your article?
Hi, Diane:
Yes, I believe the Glacier Silver replaced the white shown in the photo of the carrier under the airplane seat, which I think is an older photo. The white was gorgeous but not that practical for travel.
Thank you so much, I do have the Glacier Silver and when I saw the White I thought it might be an older picture. I appreciate your response 🙂
