This sturdy scratcher is covered with durable woven sisal that withstands years of scratching even by multiple cats. The 16″ by 16″ base keeps it from tipping while the 32″ height gives cats a good stretch when they scratch.
We’ve had one of these scratching post for several years now and it is still going strong with daily use. Choose from natural or grey to coordinate with your decor. Available from pioneerpet.com and also on Amazon.

I’d like them better if the were re-coverable. I’ve gone through at least 4. They are great, and the cats love them. But at (the old price) $55 a pop I’d want them to last longer.
We have two of these. They are worth every penny. Stylish and tough, they fit in any decor and what’s most important, CATS LOVE THEM. They can stretch full length and get some really serious clawing in. Encouraging everyone who can to invest in one or more of these. You won’t be sorry. And your cats will be VERY happy.
I totally endorse this scratcher. We have one upstairs, and one downstairs and they get heavy use from my cat. She has shredded parts but they are standing very strong. She also likes climbing up one that is actually on a table, and sitting up top (the top as it comes, no attachment) You can clearly see how pleased she is when she does this. The base is big enough to allow all 17 pounds of cat to climb up, too.
These are so durable. We had one for years for our nine cats. The only thing that destroyed it was a big flood.
I have this and my cat (10 lbs) loves it!
My boys Doogle and Roger love this scratch post, but it took me a while to train them how to use it. Great product review!
