Attention Arizona cat lovers! Join us for the first Mew-seum Cat Fest at the Mesa Historical Museum on February 24 from 10 am to 4 pm in Mesa, Arizona! Hauspanther is thrilled to be a co-sponsor of this free event centered around the museum’s collection of cat art by artist Karen Kuykendall. If you’re not familiar with Karen’s art, I’ll be telling you a lot more about it since I’m working on a book of her cat art, but she designed the Tarot of the Cat People, in addition to creating hundreds of cat drawings, paintings, and sculptures, many of which will be on display at the museum during Cat Fest.
I’ll be speaking at Cat Fest about Catification, plus Marshall Shore, The Hip Historian will regale us with stories about cats in Arizona, and Missy Pruitt of She’s All Cat and The Arizona AdvoCATs will share insights about cat care and rescue. There will also be free DIY cat-themed arts and crafts, lots vendors selling cat-centric goods and services (including Hauspanther!), and free museum admission so you can see the Karen Kuykendall exhibit.
We will also have three fantastic Arizona rescues with adoptable cats and kittens on site! Come meet the cats from All About Animals Rescue, Saving One Life, and Grateful Hearts Animal Rescue and maybe take home a new furry family member.
The Mesa Historical Museum is located at 2345 N Horne in Mesa, AZ. Visit the Mew-seum Cat Fest Event Page on Facebook or follow Mew-seum Cat Fest on Instagram for more details as we get closer to the event. If you live nearby I hope to see you there!

That sounds amazing. Surprised I had never heard of her before. Love her work. Sadly, I am no where near Mesa. Thanks for sharing this.
